Fixed Cutting and Forming Dies
Manix fixed flat pack dies are fabricated exactly to your forming specifications. Trimming and forming of all leads occurs simultaneously in a single press actuation, while the leads are always firmly clamped to prevent component damage or stress. Adjustable stand-off height (0.000" - 0.250") is available on all fabricated dies. Dies are designed and manufactured by our team of highly-experienced engineers and toolmakers. All dies are made of hardened tool steel with a 60-62 Rockwell hardness for extended life and repeatability. Die changeover is performed in a matter of seconds through the use of two, unique hold-down clamps.
FIXED DIES WITH OR WITHOUT “Z” ADJUSTMENT
OVERVIEW
Cut and form flat pack components to you exact fixed dimensions with the range of Manix fixed FP dies. Dies are fabricated and designed to meet your submitted component print. Each component lead is clamped prior to any forming or cutting operation, eliminating damage at the lead exit.
Dies are available with or without adjustable standoff. Most dies can mount on either the FP-1 hand press or the FP-5 pneumatic press. Consult your Manix sales engineer to determine which press is right for your application.
